Chunky Lobsters came to existence in an effort to bring delicious and affordable seafood to the shores of sunny Singapore.
We aim to bring upmarket seafood to the mass market, as we believe that no one should be restricted by something as arbitrary as price to the gifts of the ocean.
Here at Chunky Lobsters, we keep quality high and costs low by opting for a grab-and-go model that allows us to shave off precious dollars in the cost savings process. By keeping our outlets small, we can keep our portions big, all at a reasonable cost.
HOW DID IT ALL BEGIN?
Chunky Lobsters is the brainchild of our founders, Leonard and Chris. Leonard is a seasoned financial services manager, and Chris is an IT sales consultant with culinary training.
The idea for Chunky Lobsters came about when Chris dined at a lobster shack on a business trip overseas and realised that there was no equivalent back home in Singapore. Wanting to share this experience with friends and family back home, the pair began their research on bringing it to Singapore.
