Q: Is the food you serve halal?


As of now, Chunky Lobsters and all its outlets are unfortunately not Halal certified. We are slowly working towards getting Halal certification but it hasn't been easy. We will announce any news in relation to certification on our social media pages.

Q: Does your food contain pork, lard or alcohol?


Not at all. We actively keep these ingredients out of our food and use halal certified alternatives for ingredients that would normally have them. For example, some of our Japanese ingredients that would normally be made with alcohol have been substituted with halal certified alternatives.


Q: What does S/M/L mean? What is the difference?


S/M/L refers to Small/Medium/Large. It's the size of the roll that you are ordering. The difference lies in the amount of seafood filling. A small roll has the least filling, medium is more than that, and large has the most. We recommend a medium for the best experience.


The size of the bun stays the same for all sizes. Nobody wants to pay for extra bread when the seafood is the star of the show!

Q: Why is it so cheap, is it fake/mock/lower quality meat?

Chunky Lobsters keeps your food cost low by keeping our costs low. We work extra hard so that your food is kept affordable. You've probably seen the owners and even the marketing director (me) pulling shifts at our outlets.

Our high quality seafood is sourced from different accredited companies that practice sustainable and traceable fishing in line with local and international regulations. Our seafood is high quality and 100% real.

Q: My lobster roll looks different/has less filling than what I saw on Instagram!

All portions are carefully weighed (before cooking!) before we put them in your rolls. We will never shortchange you. You can be assured that your seafood roll has the same amount of filling as every other roll that we make. If there are any egregious discrepancies, please drop us a message.

The images we select to put on our social media are a combination of manicured photoshoots, customer photos, and our own photos of our customers' food. Some will definitely look better or fuller than others, but please be aware that these may be due to slight differences in how the bread was cut, how the seafood was stacked or other small factors.



Q: What do I need to do to qualify for $80 free islandwide delivery?


To qualify for free delivery, you must place an order directly through us, either directly through the phone or through our advance order forms. Free delivery does not apply if you are purchasing through Grab or Foodpanda or other third party platforms. Your order must also exceed $80.

Otherwise our delivery fees are as follows:

Delivery within 10km of outlet: $6

Delivery outside 10km of outlet: $12

These delivery fees will go to our hardworking team of drivers.
